Celebrating Makar Sankranti

Makar Sankranti is an important Hindu festival celebrated with religious fervor in almost all parts of India. It is the first festival during which Haldi Kurnkum (Turmeric Powder and Saffron) meets are organised. Til Gul (Sesame-Jaggery sweet) is prepared and exchanged on the day.

Our SI team has organised a get-together with the Surrogates. They exchanged sweets and greet each other with a thought “accept these sweets and speak sweet words”. The main reasons for exchanging sweets are to forget any past hard and harsh feelings and to start afresh!!

They were beautifully dressed and enjoyed the day.
