Celebration of Gopalkala at SI

On this auspicious occasion of Gopalkala (Dahi Handi) to celebrate the birth of Lord Krishna, we at SI organised a small pooja at our office, which started at 9 am.

A beautiful rangoli was made with colours, flowers & diya's (candles) at the entrance.

The pooja space was decorated with lots of flowers. Dr. Sudhir & Dr. Yashodhara dressed in the traditional attire sat for the pooja.

Everyone in office were dressed in the traditional best. The ambiance in the office was very spiritual since the morning. We have devotional instrumental music playing in the office.

After the pooja we had a delicious lunch.

Thus, there was less work... and we enjoyed the day............

Office will remain closed tomorrow on occassion of Raksha Bandhan

On the occasion of Raksha Bandhan, Office will remain closed, hence reply to the mails may get delayed, however, incase of any emergency you can give us a call.

Raksha Bandhan, (the bond of protection) or Rakhi is a Hindu festival, which celebrates the relationship between brothers , sisters & cousins.

The ceremony involves the tying of a rakhi (sacred thread) by a sister on her brother's wrist. This symbolizes the sister's love and prayers for her brother's well-being, and the brother's lifelong vow to protect her.

Get-together at Cafe Mangii

Dr. Yashodhara and Dr. Sudhir are always enthusiastic to arrange a get-together party be it for the staff or for the couples.
On 16th August,2013 they have organised a get- together lunch for all our lovely couples, who were in Mumbai at Café Mangii. Café Mangii is popular for delicious pastas and varieties of risotto.
They were pleased to see that all the couples have attended the lunch and were having fun with each other. Many couples came alongwith their new born babies, which gave an additional fun to the party.
There were some special moments captured…. Please have a look…..
