Rangoli
is a traditional decorative folk art of India. These are decorative designs
made on floors of living rooms and courtyards during Hindu festivals and it is
one of the most popular activities during all the occasions in India.
Our
surrogate mothers and their care takers have beautifully made rangolis with
different colours. There was a time limit of two hours to make the rangoli. When
they were drawing the designs without filling the colours, made us think, once
it’s filled with colours how would it look. To our surprise, it looked awesome.
The colour combination used by these contestants were very catchy.
Surrogate
Anuradha was declared winner and care taker Pooja was declared runner up. Both
the winners were awarded with gift hampers.
Kudos to the SI
Team for organising such amazing competitions and to the surrogate mothers and
their care takers for their participation in all the competitions.
