Double Celebration for SI on 27th November, 2013

Double the celebrations, double the joy & double the fun, that’s what we had on 27^th of November. Two grand celebrations – SI completing six successful years and Dr. Yashodhara Mhatre’s Birthday.  Every year that we complete, has been successful because of you (the Intended Parents, the Surrogate Mothers and our cute little babies).This year we wanted to share our success with the children. We made the celebrations special by spending time with NGO - Udaan India Foundation (education trust for the underprivileged children)

Ashlesha Chitnavis, who is the CEO of Udaan, welcomed Team SI.  She briefed us about the Foundation and introduced to her team. The batch we were visiting was of Kinder Garten grade. We played games with these kids; they had a special danced performance on the Happy Birthday song especially for Dr. Yashodhara.

Books, toys, snacks & sweets were distributed to the kids & to the Foundation.  Parting with the kids was the most difficult, since everyone was having a ball of time. But with the promise to do this again, we left the venue. 

Time for 2^nd Part of the Celebrations

The second part was the team lunch at Seasonal Tastes, Hotel Westin. Team SI has brought a beautiful cake with flowers on top, as Dr. Yashodhara loves flowers.  After the cake cutting we started with our meal. There were large variety of food, which was delicious and mouth watering. The team enjoyed thoroughly and wished for many such years to SI & many more years of celebrations.
