Dessert competition at SI

We had an amazing competition today - Dessert Competition!! 

For the dessert competition SI team has ensured that all things were in place before the competition started. They took the list of things from the surrogates and care takers a day before, so as to keep all the things ready. Yesterday when we announced about this competition to the surrogates and caretakers, they were more than happy to prepare the dishes.

There were varieties of sweet dishes like- Vermicelli Kheer, Carrot Halwa, Rava Ladoos, Coconut Ladoos, Strawberry Jelly & Rava Sheera ( 3 different forms). The dishes were beautifully decorated one after the other. Few dishes were in bright colours like Strawberry Jelly and Carrot Halwa. 

We all were eagerly waiting for Dr. Yashodhara and Dr. Sudhir to taste all the dishes and declare the winners. 

When both the doctors tasted all the dishes, it was difficult for them to choose the winner, as all the dishes were very delicious. 

Finally the winners were declared by the doctors. Surrogate Najma Shaikh was the winner who prepared Vermicelli Kheer  and Lata Waghmare  who prepared Coconut Ladoos was declared runner up. Both the winners were awarded by gift hampers by Dr. Yashodhara and Dr. Sudhir Ajja.

Team SI were dressed up in western outfit.

Thus, we all had lots of fun during the competition and got to taste yummy and delicious desserts prepared by surrogates and their care takers. We thanked them for such mouth watering dishes.

Hair Style Competition

On the second day of celebrating Women's Day, SI has organised hair style competition for the surrogate mothers and their caretakers. 

All the surrogates, care takers and Team SI were very excited for this competition. They have shown their skills in form of making different ways of hair styling. Everyone was amazed to see how quickly they were making the hair styles. 

Care Taker Sunita Abnave did a hair style on Surrogate Mother Shaila Narawane who was the winner, Sunita Abnave was also a winner for Mehndi Competition  and the runner up were both Care taker Sultana Shaikh who did hair style on Zahirabi.

During the session we cracked few jokes to make the competition interesting. 

Snacks were provided to everyone. Winners were awarded gift hampers by Dr. Yashodhara and Dr. Sudhir

All were beautifully dressed up in Anarkali Salwar suits.

One More baby boy from India

We are once again pleased to inform you that one more baby boy from India was born on 5th March, 2013.

Congratulations to everyone in the family! The role of mom and dad is the wonderful thing in the world. So congratulations to the Parents!!

Women’s Day celebration at SI

To celebrate this special day - SI Team are taking a short break from their busy schedule to thank all the women associated with SI from 4^th March till 8^th March, 2013.

We have organised a small get-together with the surrogates and their care takers and also kept few indoors games like Mehndi/Hair Style/Desserts/Rangoli and Fancy dress competitions to bring forth their hidden talents.

On 4^th March, 2013 we had Mehndi competition between all the surrogates and their care takers from 2pm which went till 4pm. All the females from SI took part in this competition. Beautiful Mehndi designs were drawn.  

Among all the surrogates Husna Khatun was the winner and from care takers Sunita Abnave was a runner up, both the winners were awarded a gift hampers by Dr.Yashodhara and Dr. Sudhir.

It was a  fun session day for all of us and we look forward to enjoy more in the following days.

SI Associated with Shashi Amin for Immigration Process
